Manager Jamie yelled at me the customer

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Jamie whose name tag said he had been working for stews for 26 or 28 years was up front explaining to an elderly woman and her daughter that the wooden nickels that you get in exchange for spending $100 that are good for a free ice cream cone have been done away with. And asked the old woman who was visibly very old if she had the app instead and then proceeded to explain how you build points and how wonderful their app was. Blah blah she didn't have a smartphone and if she did she certainly wasn't someone who downloaded apps. I waited until he was done dealing with the customer to say to him "God forbid you keep the coins so that older people like her would be able to use them if they don't have an app on their phone." He completely misunderstood me, didn't ask me to repeat myself and started yelling and arguing with me in the front of the store. The very front of the store where people are coming in and the security guard is located. He could have considered my opinion and told me that he would pass it along to management and instead argued with me for a good two to three minutes. I told him that the business and he represents the business is discriminating against elderly people that don't have smartphones and he went ballistic and said that the word discriminate was a very strong word. Yes, I meant it. All of these businesses that are getting rid of tangible things that they used to have and replacing them with apps is not fair. they could have created an app and kept the damn coin so that it would be fun for kids and older people even if they weren't used as frequently as before. There isn't any reason to ever argue with a customer especially in the front of your store and at stew leonard's? Absolutely unacceptable and not at all the customer service that one used to get shopping there. Why is it okay in the world to be a jerk now even if you're a manager? It's not! I'm going to tell every person I see for the next 30 days about what just went on. .

Large chunks of fat & skin left attached to supposedly bones skinkess chicken

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Charged $2.99 per lb for boneless skinless chicken &;;;;;; I needed to cut 1-2 lbs of fat skin off before I cook it. EVERY TIME I BUY FROM YOU. So it shouldve been 1/2 the price I paid.

Preferred solution: Either lower your prices per lb or trim the fat & skin off totally

Safety of staff and customers

Today July 5, 2020 I went to your store in Norwalk. It was around 11:00am when I went to check out. I stood in the mandatory area waiting for my turn to approach the cashier. However, an associate of the store called for me to go the cashiers along the wall. I think these are for customers with less items. Anyway, I ended up shoulder to shoulder with customers on either side of me also checking out. It seemed that all the stations there were checking out customers. There was no social distance being followed and I did not feel safe. This truly was outrageous during these times. How dare the store allow this to happen--no regard for customers or your own staff. Upon leaving the store, I told one of the associates about my experience!

Yesterday I purchased 2 Parmesan Subs at 7.99 each......the skin was left on the eggplant and was very tough. Half the sandwiches had to be thrown out. These are not cheap and who ever made them should have checked before they are put out for sale......
